New Music and Art Exhibit Coming to Crown Heights

This group exhibition will present works by New York artists who are both visual and musical artists. “Music” is loosely defined to frame the artists’ works but metaphorically refers to works in flux, shifting and flowing, traversing different boundaries, groundless, at times pointing toward spiritual transcendence. Many of the works in the exhibition are presented as still in the process of growing, or articulating the process of their unfolding, either in form, content, or arrangement. Not quite asserting ideas about cross-fertilization or the intersection of sound and image; definitely NOT a posh ‘sound art’ show, here the realm beyond our own predictability and control can be explored.
